One SPA hub; every product talks through /o/peopleboards-rest/v1.0 — never browser /o/c/*.

Peopleboards is a company portal on Liferay DXP where people work, delivery, and in-portal mail live in one place. After login, everyone lands on Command Center, then opens the product they need.

Status

Completed / shipping on Liferay DXP 2026.Q2 — React Command Center SPA, in-portal Vulcan REST, Objects, Kaleo workflows, and batch seed. Product behaviour is frozen in the workspace docs; the portal follows those contracts.

What ships

  • HRMS — leave, attendance, pay, policies, joiners, Approvals Kanban.
  • Project Boards — delivery tickets, QA, Delivery Insights.
  • Correspondence — Gmail-like mail inside the portal; @mentions notify through mail.
  • Peabo — optional chat agent that calls the same product APIs (tenant opt-in).
  • Process Studio / Site Settings — design approvals, tenants, Easy Permission, mail governance (Platform Admin).

How it is built

  • peopleboards-portal-app — React SPA as a client extension (Command Center and all product screens).
  • peopleboards-rest-* — Vulcan REST at /o/peopleboards-rest/v1.0. The browser never calls Liferay /o/c/* for product data.
  • Object folders Peopleboards-HRMS, Peopleboards-BOARDS, Peopleboards-MAIL — plus ListType batches, roles, users, and Kaleo WF-01…WF-12.
  • Site bootstrap, auth gate, and role login helpers as OSGi modules.
